A born and raised Bostonian, I have been a stylist for nine years. For seven of those years, I have been working in the Financial District. Working in such a fast-paced and business-oriented environment has truly shaped my career.
I specialize in men's hair-cutting techniques and enjoy helping my clients find a healthy balance between work-appropriate and fun hairstyles. I also love creating a formal updos for brides and other occasions. Updos allow me to use my creative energies to make someone's big day special.

Why I became a stylist:
I pride myself in being a good listener, which is an essential component of my job. I believe in healthy and practical hairstyles. If you cannot recreate it at home, then it's not a good hairstyle.
What’s your favorite Living Proof Product and Why?
The No Frizz Wave Making Cream is my favorite product. It makes wavy hair's curl memory come back and dries beautifully.
One trade secret you would share:
If you're getting an updo, wash your hair the day before. The natural oils in your hair help to add hold and supply texture for sculpting hair into a great updo that will last all day... and night!
When not at the salon, is most likely found:
Outdoors enjoying the fresh air, either skiing in the winter or laying on the beach in the summer.
"Lauren has a keen eye for color that has been unmatched by any of my previous salon experiences. She can take any head of hair and give you a runway worthy look in a matter of hours. I've been some variation of blond for a number of years, and Lauren has always been able to keep my look fresh, in season and contemporary. Her cuts always look fabulous and grow out beautifully."
